Carol is a retired art teacher from the Palmyra Area School District. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and has studied watercolor under the direction of many prominent watercolor artists including Bruce Johnson, Nick Ruggieri, Tom Lynch, Tony VanHasselt, and Ron Rensen. My painting style encompasses very abstract suggestions of backgrounds using techniques of spattering, plastic wrap overlay, scraping, and wet on wet. I use a wet on dry technique to achieve a sense of realism where needed, I enjoy painting the architecture and scenery in Mt. Gretna, Pennsylvania landscapes, seascapes, and florals.
Carol resides with her husband, Ray, in Lebanon.

Carol Snyder is donating an original painting (Hall of Philosophy) to the 2018 American Heart Association Heart Ball in honor of her husband Ray who is recovering from a heart attack.
The ball will be held on April 7th. Part of the commitment of this foundation and the Heart Ball is to raise awareness, support, and raise funds for the American Heart Association.
